Mango Lassi With a Twist!

Veronica's Healthy Living
Mango Lassi, traditionally, is an spicy beverage popular in India, known for its sweet, creamy, cooling effect using yogurt and sugar. Here, I gave it a little twist using coconut milk and stevia….still creamy…still delicious.
Prep Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup full-fat coconut milk from can (stir to mix solid with the liquid) or you may use coconut milk found in the produce isle, just won’t be as rich and creamy
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango diced
  • ¼ tsp stevia
  • 1 dash cardamon

Instructions

  • Place ingredients in blender and blend on high until thoroughly mixed and creamy.
  • Serve in glass containers and sprinkle with a few mango pieces and cardamon seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

Many people have food allergies toward milk, including me! So, I generally use coconut milk when I can in recipes requiring milk. Other non-dairy yogurt or goat yogurt may be used as well.
