Watermelon Lime Slushy

Veronica's Healthy Living
Ohhhh….for the taste of summer in glass! Nothing is more refreshing than an ice cold watermelon slushy on a hot, summer day! Only 2 ingredients! It’s best if you freeze chunks of watermelon (seeds and all) for this, but if you haven’t planned ahead on this, go ahead and use fresh watermelon. Just add ice cubes to make it ice cold.
Prep Time 10 minutes

  • 4 - 6 cups frozen watermelon (the amount depends upon the size of your blender)
  • ¼ - ½ cup cup lime juice, according to taste (it sounds like a lot, but believe me, this is what makes the slushy so tasty!)

  • Blend in blender until smoothie.  Garnish with slice of fresh lime and enjoy!

I don’t add any sweetener, but if you need it, go ahead and add a pinch of stevia.
